Surely, if a new TV channel comes out, it is up to the broadcastor ie VM to get it dealt with and put it on air to meet the customers choice, why wait until the deal runs out?

If they redo an deal just for an new channel that broadcaster let say Discovery can come in to Virgin and says to them ''We will let you have that new channel for Â£Xm extra.''

But if they wait until they deal is up Virgin can tell Discovery ''Here is Â£Ym extra for all your channels''.

That mean cost will stay down for Virgin Media and their viewers.

Look what happened with Sky Basic Channels!!!
