Angry Anyone added broadband online?

I am adding broadband to my brother's tv and phone package and have entered all the options required for an existing user and all the personal info. However when I click NEXT on the preferred installation dates/times screen it just hangs waiting for a response. I've given it 45 minutes but no joy and I've tried several times. Any idea what's wrong? Thanks.

Re: Anyone added broadband online?

The current advice, gleaned from this forum and others, is not to order changes to existing packages online.

The most important reason is that you are unlikely to get the best price for your bundle using that route.

Best speak to someone at Virgin Media. Phone early morning and you will likely get someone in the UK. Always check pricing via the following webpage before you call:

http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...e-builder.html

PS Remember to add the £11 phone rental charge into the price shown (it's in the small print just below the headline price).

Unhappy Re: Anyone added broadband online?

Thanks RobboEdin. That's weird, he first rang 150 to do this but they said to get the cheaper price then he'll have to do it online!!! Hence the reason why I'm doing it.
I'll tell him to ring them again and explain what's happened. Very frustrating!!

Customer Service on 150 should be able to offer the pricing shown on the bundle pricer when an existing customer is adding a new service.

If you get no joy from that then take the option as if you are wishing to leave and you will get through to Customer Relations (aka Retentions) and they will give you what you want (and probably more).
