From October 1st. Kerrang is available for free to all L pack subscribers on Virgin Channel 342 until 31 October.

Before 2010
Virgin Media will introduce EPG improvements.

History has told me in an email when ask about more History own channels joining Virgin TV: ''apparently there are no plans at present.''

Then I ask Dicovery when is Quest going to launch on Virgin TV and I got the following back:

Dear Media Boy,

Unfortunately, Quest is not currently available in Virgin.

The contracts covered by our channels are frequently under review, so it is possible that this situation may change in the future.

Any new information regarding channel availability will be announced on our web site and via your local cable or satellite provider.

NBU to give an new look to it UK Channels and are looking into launching two new UK Channels.

May launch soon in UK:
Universal Channel
13th Street

Will soon be rebrand in UK:
Sci-Fi will be rebrand as Syfy Universal
Diva TV will be rebrand as Diva Universal

But NBU’s other UK channels, such as Movies 24 and Hallmark will remain in place.

ITV1 to show Brazil VS England in November.

ITV are to broadcast Brazil v England an International Friendly on Saturday November 14 at 5pm live on ITV1, UTV and ITV HD.

Viewers in Scotland will need to tune into ITV1 London on Sky 993 and Virgin 853.

Living hd now on hdtv light now on v+ box showing boston legal very crisp picture but black border all around picture maybe still testing.

HD channels don't stretch pictures, so some remain with black borders.

KidsCo eyes 2010 launch.

KidsCo has set a 2010 deadline for its UK launch and is considering going free to air. (And its) chief executive Paul Robinson - not him in Neighbours - told Broadcast that he is currently in “active talks” with a number of platforms and (he hope to) launch in the UK “in the first half of next year”.

Sky 1 HD for example when they output the simpsons before they were made in 16:9 are 4:3 as are Family Guy on FX HD. Dunno about VM channels though but if the original broadcast was 4:3 then the HD will be too

If Living is showing a widescreen picture in 4:3 you would get it.

Anyone who has watched anything recent like NCIS on FX (not FX HD) will know what it looks like!

Is your pic still like that Gadge? when I checked it before it was showing A.N.T.M and that was 4:3 (as it should be), same as LIVING... pic quality is way better though. HD flags on the tv guide too for the progs in HiDef..

No its 4.3 now but this morning at about 4.20 it was just a picture with a black border all around hence why i said this morning still testing.
