No. Adobe and Apple are supposedly working on a version of Flash player, but have hit several problems.
- A lot of flash movies require access to Flash's inbuilt scripting language, ActionScript. Applications with Scripting languages built in are violations of the iPhone SDK terms and conditions, so Apple will not allow distribution via iTunes app store. If Flash is released for iPhone, it will likely come with a future version of the OS.
- Apparently Flash is working on the iPhone, but can overload the CPU, and therefore drain the battery quickly.

It was a postcard app or something. If you go onto itunes store on your computer I'm sure there is a 'apps from the ads' section.
Also as for a comment on quality.
Got a 1st Gen (2g) iphone on launch day and loved the aluminium back. Dropped it several times onto concrete and allsorts and with a few scuffs it did very well. Now on on of the first black 3g iphones which has had a similar hard life and has a few minor cracks. Considering the drops it has had I never though it would have got this far. With a normal phone I'd be picking up bits for sure or at worst simply re assembling them after many of the drops this phone has had.
When I got the first one I got looks and people looking at me funny. Now theres 4 out of ten people at work with 1 and 1 more getting one when orange launch them. My ex is looking at one and her sis just got a 3gs. And a freind just got 1 as well. They are slowly taking over.
Contract is up in december and i'm wondering do I get the 3gs or wait for the tablet?

Well, I've had the 2G - 3G and now the 3GS.. my only gripe with the 3GS, is the screen seems a little hazzy.. other than that, you sure as hell notice the difference in speed.

Re: The iPhone thread
Have you tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds? - this shuts it off fully.
Leave it a couple of seconds, then hold it down again until it powers up (if it does).

Tried it, doesn't do a thing (nothing comes on the screen at all)

Re: The iPhone thread
Press & hold down, home button for 10 seconds - then press the power button for about 5 seconds, making sure, it's plugged into iTunes. Should, put the iPhone in DMFU mode then click restore.

Sounds like the battery went dead. You need to plug it in at the wall, not usb to the computer. Leave it charging for a good 30 mins and then it should let you turn it on.

I thought that too but didn't really want to state what I thought was a bit obvious

Re: The iPhone thread
Just bought Memory Info Lite.
Apple have made them remove the 'Free Memory' feature, so now it just tells you how much memory your iPhone is gobbling up.
What a waste of 59p!
