Hi
I just moved into a communal flat and disovered a white telewest box attached to the wall, which means i am only receiving an analogue signal at the moment
I would like this removed but virgin wont touch this and have told me to try using an allen key,and replace with a aerial cover
where can I find the right key and is it as straight forward as this?
Not very techny at all so if someone could help that would be appreciated
Don't tamper with it, you will not get any TV service (if any) for long as the analogue is being switched off or might already have been in your area. You need to use a real aerial point or contact Virgin Media to get a TV service installed, you can get free tv when you get a Virgin phone line for £11 a month.
A hammer and chisel will get rid of the box if you don't wish to receive services from Virginmedia.
There's no point whatsoever in replacing the cover with an aerial faceplate
