PLEASE HELP: Friend in need.

A good friend has been told they can receive Virginmedia TV in the Stevenage area for free. She has been told it's included in her rent as a tenant with the Stevenage Borough Council.

Is this true?

How does she go about it if this is true?

Re: PLEASE HELP: Friend in need.

Thankyou for the reply. I have a feeling that as the analog signal is being switched off then she would have to pay for Virginmedia digital TV and receive a discount. Does anyone know when Stevenage is getting switched off?

Re: PLEASE HELP: Friend in need.

Has Virginmedia got a timetable available online for their analog switch off?

That's probably the terrestrial switch off date. Virgin are switching off areas on their own timetable. Indeed, my local area (Bromley) has already switched (on cable), despite the terrestrial date being 2012..
