Re: Orange

I had a situation in Phones4u - I had 4 months left on my vodafone contract and wanted a new phone. Basically, Phones4u staff gave me, enough money (cash) to buyout my contract and then proceeded to a new contract with Orange.

What makes you think, he needs to give the £200 back?

Re: Orange

It should work the same as the Three get out.

Any gift or cash inticement they used to get you to sign you should be able to keep because they have changed the terms of your contract, so in effect they have cancelled your contract. Please bear in mind I am NOT a lawer but know a couple of people that got out of their Three contracts whilst keeping the free WII.

My friends that cancelled with Three did however spend the best part of 4 hours having to listen to bullsh*t and down right lies and then go through the retentions with 'amazing offers' I suspect Orange will try something similar be firm and be close to your charger and you will get out.

Another instance of people power making a difference

Orange has scrapped plans to increase out-of-bundle call rates, as well as the cost of web access from handsets, after customers started deserting the network in droves.
