Unfortunately I already have version XI so it wasn't any use to me...I've been keeping up with the upgrades thus far from way back when I got version 8 at a special price...

I had to copy that file onto the desktop to edit it then copy it back otherwise i got access denied in Windows 7.

This won`t install on my Widows 7, it just stalls,i can see it multiple times in task manager but nothing, anyone any ideas?

Installs perfectly on Windows 7 32bit here. It unzips to an install folder then you run setup.
Have you tried installing it in XP compatibility mode?

I had problems the first time but that was due to my Comodo Proactive Defence and after disabling that for the install, all was well.
