Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
Is it any wonder the groundswell of opinion is against Max and the FIA. The FOTA lobby provide a conciliatory and pragmatic press conference, but the Max and FIA reach for the lawyers at the first sign of trouble. The Friday press conference is worth reading.

Vettel heads a RedBull 1-2, with Barrichello for Brawn 3rd. Massa, Rosberg and Button were close together in 4th, 5th and 6th. Hamilton was 16th.

Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
After years of Bernie saying Silverstone is not good enough all of sudden it transpires there could be an F1 GP at Silverstone next year. Call me cynical but when a breakaway series might just start looking for venues Bernie gets in the way ....

Hmmm, seems the only thing we know for sure is that Max is going, does that mean barmy Bernie's medal/win scoring plan is still there?

He's only changed his mind due to the commitment of the BRDC in getting Silverstone up to the standard he wanted.

I've no doubt they will find new sponsors after their early success. Its the increased cost due to said success which has driven Virgin away.

Or possibly Brawn refusing to change its name, if that was what Virgin was looking for?
