Hmm, yes. I've had the V+ box for a good couple of years now. 1 linear HD channel, and some pretty poor content on demand in HD. Not impressed but money talks...I can get all services a lot cheaper with VM than I can with BT/Sky so I stay.

Can't agree with the "pretty poor content" comment: the quantity may be low but the quality (esp. BBC and HBO) is hardly bottom drawer...

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Two channels has today been removed from Virgin TV as my ''Total Channels'' has now been cut to 307 in an Ex-Telewest area.
I think the channels was removed from ''Catch-up on Demand''.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
....the channel numbers change constantly as some of them are hidden channels used for PPV events and other applications.
I've yet to see any tests which indicate a new channel launch is imminent.

Personally id rather they added nothing than add those channels but I guess it all depends on what you want from your tv viewing really.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Someone ask Virgin Media via Twitter if the Virgin was in talks with Sky with an view of the '' Red Button'' being added to Sky Sports.
And he got this back:

It's something we are in discussions about but we have no confirmation on when/if it might happen as yet.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
I have two pointers, to ask forum members, 1. At the moment we cannot use RED button due to a techincal fault, and 2, Why can't we get TEXT on cable via the handset.
Also, you mention that we can get HD content on demand, this to me is not HD channels, they way l look, there won't be a lot of HD channels, for Sky, there will probabely be +1 channels, and this is not alot is it, l thought that VM was a 21st century company ?

First I've heard of it.
Which channels?
What town?
What happens when you press red, or is that prompt not displayed at all?
Who has told you it is a technical fault?
(mods: this is clearly off-topic. Could you split into a separate thread?)
