Re: Left virgin
Just got off the phone, a nice gentlemen say that i was right i don't need to pay £80 again to re-activated 50 Meg as he will switch it on for me if i want 50 meg now but will cost me £52 a month as i ask him, is there any offer for me to comeback with virgin ? he say hold on while i check your account and see if we can offer you a deal, wait for a minute and he come back say to me ok, we give you £9 off and you will pay £43 a month for 50meg and that including discount, would you like me to activated your 50 meg now if you have your 50mb cable modem and please plug it back on and turn it on. I say to him, ok i want it now for £43 a month deal and he say ok, bear with me while i activated your 50 meg service .... wait for another 2 minutes, he say it all done for you. Anything else I can help you with ? I say to him, many thanks.
I am now activated 50Meg I am back with Virgin Media.

Re: Left virgin
For how long? 27 days until you decide to cancel again?
And what lies will you tell SKY to get out of that contract?

Look on the bright side mate, at least now you'll be able to post on the Sky forums, as well as here

You pay £80 install because it's a premium service. You want the best in the country, you pay top dollar for it. GET OVER IT!
Once again.
GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!

But you said up there ^^^^
"Ahhh that .... I already order sky max unlimited four weeks ago and my line went LIVE last wednesday before I cancel my virgin 50Mb yesterday."
So surely the 28 day rule applies to SKY as well, perhaps you need to be calling SKY again.

imagine that! a company that says you can't cancel your services while in contract.

Re: Left virgin
telford dude, for £10 a month, youve got a sky conection with a speed of 1.6 meg down. thats more than what most of us get on virgin at like 3 x the cost APPROX ( 10Meg ). For you Thats not even £1 a day :|, ok with 28 days or more per month youll pay roughly 35p day ! you cant complain at that ! ok wait a min...
how can u not live with 16 meg conection from sky :| the uplaod speed is kack, 768kb for sky i think ? VM 50 meg does have its plus side at whatever the upload speed is
think of it this way. the money you just gained out of Vm you can shove into skys pocket and pay for your sky BB without loosing a single penny and having 2 internet conections one for downloading ( VM ) one for day to day stuff / gaming etc ( sky ) Sorted youth.
Youve gained everything and lost nothing whilst getting a better deal on your 50 Meg BB.

Oh good - I do really hope you enjoy paying for all these ISP connections.
Have you tried calling to see if you can activate any others as well?

That would have to be a member of management and that is someone you do not want in these forums trying to honeytrap customers and also posters on these forums.

Ok Telford, I have to admit your posts are funny and they do amuse me, but you are now getting beyond a joke, I don't believe you actually ever cancelled your broadband as you can't just reconnect, but if it was true the person who disconnected you needs to be sacked and the person who reconnected you needs a slap and to read CF.

Virgin Media won't ever have the funds for the network to be amazing like could be due to these reason below
1. Tight ass customers wanting service for nothing

Can i just add thieving **** bag clonners to that list as well.

If he cancelled he could not reconnect for 6 months if I remember correctly, so what he says does not ring true plus who is available after midnight to reconnect you.?
