Left virgin
I had finally had left virgin media and they had cancel my 50 meg and the service is now disconnected. They had refund me £80 back. They also ask me to send the modem and router back to Virgin.
So, goodbye virgin, wish you all the best of luck with virgin 50 meg but sooner or later, it will be throttling and stm on it (not yet but it will be soon)
I am now with sky unlimited max (16mb) at £10 a month. Happy now with sky max (no more slow speed)
Disappointed with 50 meg over 6 days with slow speed (I think virgin media never bothered about poor speed as they only interesting is your money)
I was surprise I get my £80 back. (that one was installed and activated last friday)

Re: Left virgin
I'm trying to work out how he's gone from upgrading broadband to XXL last Friday to completely disconnected now.
I always thought it took 30 days to disconnect services?

Re: Left virgin
Virgin media say it won't do 30 days notice to be disconnected on 50 Meg, (only on the 2meg, 10 meg or 20 meg) if cancel 50 meg they will disconnected you straight away.

don't care really as virgin media is now the worst rubbish fibre optic broadband in UK with crap speed and rip off monthly payment.
I think I should complaint to bbc watchdog asking virgin media to REMOVED STM ONCE FOR ALL AND REDUCE PRICE.

Re: Left virgin
Congratulations telfordcable.
I don't know why they disconnected him right away, perhaps they read CF.
I'm sending a brick wall to SKY tech support, I'm sure the guys there will need it soon.
