ie 8 problems

Hi

I'm not sure if I've put this in the right place but here goes. I recently downloaded and installed the new ie8 on to my pc which is running xp professional and since then everthing has been gonig wrong i have the google taskbar and it not working i just want to know has anyone else out there any problems and any fixes for it as i like the ie8 lot better but at the minute I'm now back to ie7 and everything is fine.

Disable google toolbar, you will find IE 8 then works properly. It's a known issue Google has yet to resolve.

I have a problem with the IE8 inasmuch that the cookies disappear when the laptop or desktop is rebooted, and all the saved passwords disappear.

I've noticed links take longer to load after being clicked on IE 8.

i have the google calendar on my google task bar when i start up my pc it come up saying that the calendar is not working and it do you shut it down or continue when i click continue it works fine but then i have other conflicts with the pc freezes and goes to the blue screen saying you have a problem with pc shut down and go into safe to fix the problem.. not sure what the problem is so ive reverted back to ie7 until a later version of 8 comes out like the layout and different things you can do on ie 8 but not at the min.

Not had bluescreen issues with IE8 so have no idea if something has gone wrong with your install, disabling the googletoolbar would have shown if it was that or IE causing the issue.
