Re: 50Mb areas

Just got my installation date. (Saturday 7th. Feb). Just checked on the phone. I'm down as a VIP+50mbBBI which means I only have £10 extra per month to pay for my 50mb. There will be a £30 installation charge for the new router.

Re: 50Mb areas

Im waiting on 50Meg to arrive in the southampton area SO16 postcode, just a quick question, do i have to pay for and take the router? I already have a Belkin N1 Vision router, and both my laptops are wireless N with everything else wired on Gigabit ethernet so there seems little point in downgrading.

I know i need a new modem for the 50Meg but i really have no use for the router.

The router comes free even if you do not want it, so accept it as a spare.

Post, the router is nothing to do with Virgin is supplied and supported by Netgear.

I think you really need to calm down and not get upset just because I won't take your theories on Virgin picking on SA1 at face value.

Wasn't aware the 50Mbit had been installed and routers had been given out with it for 6 months, I am well behind the times.

Routers brought by techs changed on the 26th of January - so only a month and a few days behind the times
