Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)

I must admit i NEVER watch ITV1 but if this is a start to ITV HD then my dad will be pleased as there is footy on that...

yeah same here, my dad was asking me about ITV HD only the other night. Must have been some soccer game on...? Guess after watching it on BBC HD there's no going back! However, i personally could think of other channels I'd rather have in HD before ITV..

There is still no ITV player here in Cardiff which is a ex-NTL area. Does anyone have any news on when when it will be rolled out here ?

For me it would be :-

Sky1 for Lost (but thats about it)
British Eurosport (cos i love tennis)
Sky Premier 1
and i guess Channel 4 HD/sky sports 1 HD

When will ITV Net Player improve it's program choice ? It's been on 24 hours now and from what I hear have the choice of programs on there is poor. If they dont hurry up and put more programs on there ITV may have to pull it's player due to lack of people watching it.

I guess for us here it'd be: History, NatGeo, FX, Five USA, MotorsTV, Virgin 1, Hallmark, Disc Sci, Horror Channel :-)
