Try a few weeks afterwards. AFAIK the connection the previous tenants had to the ntl 250 modem still works with the same ntl 250 modem. I don't use it now, but still check it daily just to see if it still works. You'd think they'd disconnect you immediately, but it seems not high on their list of priorities.

after what turned out to be an installation nightmare, i did see my preverbial backside, and politley told VM to remove their services, which saw all my services dropped within 20 seconds, including the phone and tv.
now thats what i call efficient.
So maybe it depends on who your dealing with, and whether you push their buttons.

Obviously i got someone who wasnt having a very good day.

Glad to say all was sorted in the end though,
