Windows Server 2008 Recovery Console?

Windows Server 2008 Recovery Console - does it still exist in Server 2008 - or has it been renamed to something else??

you should be able to install it off of the Server2008 CD, or just boot off the CD and select R then C

It's not on there...

No mention of it on the 'tinternet either. I think it may have been renamed or removed or amalgamated into another applet.

Might be the same as vista, and not have one... But you can access Windows PE from the install, I think.

I thought PE was for managing the roll-out of the OS for other computers???

originally yes it was, but it has evolved... you should be able to run RE from PE
