Adding a Wireless router to existing cable router?

Hi all
I would like to add a second router (Belkin Wireless) to an existing Linksys BEFSR41 and am somewhat confused about how to go about this. I need this as I would like to use a wireless equipped laptop from anywhere in the house and the second router would allow me to connect additional computers to the four I currenlty use. Could the Belkin router receive a DHCP assigned address from the first router or how would any devices connected wirelessly get an address from the Wireless router. Any advice would be very welcome and thank you in advance.

Check if one or other of your routers have an "access point only" setting. If one does, then that would be the one to use upstairs as a pass through to the DHCP router downstairs.
You may have to connect them together with a cat5 patch lead to set them up initially.
