really poor internet, NG19

really poor internet, NG19

i noticed saturday evening that my connection was stuttering some pages very slow to load and some not loading at all, sunday i was away and when i got in monday evening it had got even worse, most pages would not load, could not log into LOTRO, check emails or log into msn etc.

then suddenly about 11:20pm lastnight it all suddenly came back, great i thought its sorted... but no.. today exactly the same thing most pages not loading or they are so slow they time out took be about 10 goes and 12mins to just get to this site.

any ideas whats going off ?

Best thing to do is call Tech Support so they can check out your connection.

i rang tech support and went through the usual boot disconnect router plug directly into the modem which didnt make any difference, then i was told to drop into safe mode with networking enabled, unfortunatly i had a phone call and had to rush out i told the guy on the other end and he said that i need to try this as he thought i had some sort of software blocking me from browsing the net, i told him that i had no software firewalls etc running but still he said i need to do this.

so i have just done it and it made no difference, still taking ages to open webpages if they dont time out, its just took me the best part of 30mins to get to this point again...

i did decide to run a trace route tho, not sure if its any help..
