I've taken this from PS3 fanboy as they probably explain it better than me.

The Metal Gear Solid Database contains info on all the canonical games from the series (Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4 and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops), including a timeline of events, character relationship diagrams and an encyclopedia of terms, places and people. To protect those that have yet to finish MGS4, all spoilerish information from the game is blacked out until the Database locates a completed MGS4 save file.

Its not really a game but a giant database of everything MGS and can probably help you with things you may not of understood in the series

The MGS4 DB is awesome


Covers *everything*. Full timeline, encyclopaedia, & character relationship info.


Especially invaluable for someone like me who hasn't played the previous games.

There's supposed to be some sort of "Team Pack" with co-op modes or something.

Ah I know what you mean with the Co-op pack. Dunno why we have not gotten it yet. Sam old same old I guess. Only a solo pack avalible at the moment with the extra gameplay modes and a new soundtrack. Nothing special for £2.99.

Maybe in america in the next couple months but not likely for us for a while yet. Best wait to see whats announced at E3
