Thumbs up Unreal Tournament 3

UT3 is out today. Anyone getting this? Anyone already got it (xbox360) what do you think of it? I believe that the game has its own servers, so should stop any unfair advantages (like GoW hosted games).

Re: Unreal Tournament 3

I love the UT games but won't be buying it. I have all the UT PC games and tried the PS3 version and it just doesn't seem the same on a console. I do have it on my Lovefilm rental list so will eventually get round to playing it.

Re: Unreal Tournament 3

Tough call, I never did get this on the PC as I would be tempted to spend loads of cash upgrading it

Might just be tempted to get it on the 360 although, as Stephen says, it wouldn't be the same playing it on a console. I would hope though that this game does not become infested with some of the numptys who play Halo and Gears (no offence to anyone who plays them but they seem to attract more undesirables than many of the other games ).

LOL. Currently playing Gears and Lovefilm have just sent Halo 3!
I'll stay offline then, eh?

Also got UT3 in my LF rental queue, so will get it eventually.

Re: Unreal Tournament 3

Never played any of the games, looks amazing though. Is that the same engine GoW uses? It looks a lot similar.

Yes Gears and many other games use the Unreal engine.

Definitely! I've decided to pick a copy up myself, probably at the weekend. Will have to partake in a jolly good old UT spamfest with you Neon
