An Army officer cheated death when a rocket-propelled grenade bounced off him during combat in Afghanistan.

The real point here is that the officer had been provided with some proper protective kit, i.e decent body armour. Maybe the MOD has learnt some lessons from incidents a few years ago when such kit wasn't readily available.
