Error -5001 Wont uninstall .

Hve been trying to remove a game from my Pc through the normal ways ,Uninstaller,XP removal and also in safe mode .Keeps coming up with the same box

When I press Ok ,I get

Installshield wizard
Setup has experienced an error.
Please do the following
-Close any running programs
-Empty your temporary folder
-Check your Internet connection(Internet Based Setups)
Then try to run the setup again.

then it has a line

Error code -5001

Any suggestions on how ro get the programe removed would be apreciated .

sounds like there is some kind of dependancy on the object you are trying to remove. I would try reinstalling the game, then run the uninstall again. I get the feeling you might have as many issues reinstalling it though looking at your error. could be wrong though.

this could be related to a number of things, such as device drivers, drive virtualisation (such a daemon tools or alcohol) or .DLL (mis)registering. do you use onboard sound? or a virtual drive app?

alternatively, try removing the install folders and registry entries manually.
