picture is messed up

i was watching something i recorded last night on V+,i went downstairs to get a drink when i came back the colours went patchy (green and blue colurs aren't right and skin colour too)
i've swapped over hdmi cables, plugged into diffrent hdmi slot in back of my tv, restarted it and mafe sure all cables are tight but no changes.

whats up with it ?

i've just tested it with a scart lead and the picture is fine.so i'm positive it's the hdmi on the v+ box.

Re: picture is messed up

have you got another HDMI tv or another HDMI output device? How do you know its the box and not the TV? The input on the tv gets processed in a different way between HDMI and Scart

Re: picture is messed up

This happened to us recently, it turned out to be a problem with the TV itself and not VM.

Re: picture is messed up

My V+ does this sometimes.

Press 'Reset' on the front panel, wait for the box to reboot and all should be well.

had this happen a couple of times and i just changed the channel on my TV, then back to HDMI and it come good on both occasions

heard someone with similar problem ended up with a new V+ box

i get the impression that hdmi connection is a bit flaky as the slightest thing disturbs it

because Samsung don't currently make V+ boxes, although there have been rumours of one being developed
