iPod Coverflow

Evening,

The GF has just got an iPod and guess who's setting it up!

Anyway - I'm ripping CD's, but how do I get the album artwork?

I thought that iTunes would get it automatically but it does'nt seem to download it, so I dragged one to the album artwork area in iTunes.

It's displaying on the iPod but not sized very well....so what's the best size to use or how can I get iTunes to download it automaticaly?

Cheers

lee

Re: iPod Coverflow

For iTunes to download artwork, you need an iTunes store account. If you have one, then just right click on the track(s) and select "Get Artwork".

Thanks for the quick reply Stuart. Yep - she's got an iTunes account now - all setup and ready to buy lots of rubbish!

Cool - so can you download the artwork even if you have not purchased the album through the store?

Goes off to try...

Re: iPod Coverflow

Another good source of artwork is Amazon. Just search for the CD,then, when you find it, double click the artwork. For most CDs, that will bring up a large, hi res photo of the cover, which you can copy/paste into itunes.

That's what I did with one (Bon Jovi - Lost Highway) but I think the resolution was too large as the artist was "on Joi" - missing the B and I.
