I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but can't help feel as though this guy would have gone to another bookies and do the same. He's had his wake up call - only time will tell if he does in fact decide to do something about his addiction.

Btw, i work with people who have addictions, so have plenty of knowledge on breaking habits and addictions - but i have a crafty feeling we'll see this guy again in the news

I'm sure I heard that the judge said he'd lost money elsewhere, so even if William Hill had refused to take his money, he'd have lost it at other bookies.
