What do you mean the "pretty the standby button" when you turn the v+ box off from the remote the box is actually powering down and then clicks off.

Re: When is the next software update planned?

The box doesnt go into standby now?! Thats fantastic. One problem, though, is what happens when programs are booked to record when your in Bed/out and the box would normally be in standby?

I recall saying something about this a few weeks ago, hoping the box would recognise to switch itself in sleep mode when theres no recordings AND its in Standby, but wakes up when theres recordings coming up, with an internal clock.

With energy saving the rage ATM, this is a brill addition.

A list of stuff thats added/changed would be good, and I think were expecting one this afternoon on the Newsgroups.

I mean "press" lol

Because when i press standby, all i get is a green glow in my room and its still noisey

In the new update, if this actually powers down so its silent, thats great. But will it still kick in to record your set programs ?

That's a pity - just carry on using my free view box for radio recording then. I thought this was on the 'to-do' list. Does the Sky+ Box support this?

I'd like them to sort it out so I don't have to reboot my box every time I want to watch something on OD.

Sounds like your box is faulty. That should not happen.
