email problem

I have gone from virgin dial up on xp to broadband on vista because xp computer died.Trouble is,when setting up,it said i was not allowed to use previous email address i had to use a new one.This is causing problems because i need password reminders on some auction and utility company sites and cannot because they would send the reminders to my old email address.Can i somehow access my old email account?

Re: email problem

if you are an ex NTL customer & can remember the password you can access your account from http://webmail.ntlworld.com , or ring tech support & once you have passed DPA the tech can migrate the old address from the dial up account to your Broadband account & then you can continue using it.

If you are an ex Telewest/Blueyonder customer, I'm not sure how it works on their systems.

it's the same with the blueyonder network.
call up, they can speak to the 2nd line team who transfer it
this would be up and running with in at most 1 hour, though is
usually done almost immediatly
