Question Car Cigar Lighter Extension

Evening,

Anybody know where I can buy a car cigar lighter extension cable with an easily replaceable fuse and a off / on switch?

So far I've tried: Halfords, Maplins, FleaBay - just can't find any with an off / on switch...

Anybody come across one of these before?

Re: Car Cigar Lighter Extension

I picked one up at Aldi about a month ago. Might be worth checking them out. Its a three plug extension, with an On/Off switch. Cost about a fiver I think

Tried Maplins - they have one - but out of stock in the Basingstoke store - and didn't have power switch - which I may remove from the requirements list..

Re: Car Cigar Lighter Extension

I got my 4 socket extension with push button on/off switch from Halfrauds.
Try and find a bigger store perhaps or look on ebay?

Yes I saw them - I only really want one plug to socket...

None on fleaBay with power switches.

Yes I could do - but I just wanted the convenience of having a switch...

Was B+Q and it was designed for a table lamp cord - you need to make sure the switch will handle the AMPS that you put through the cable to the device as some devices can draw quite a bit over 12v.

Remember AMPS kill not Voltage (unless 25,000 etc).

No switch though... and I have no idea of the quality
Had Torches from ledshoope before and those were great
(http://ledshoppe.com/Product/ledp/LP1034.htm)

Had a card reader from them, doesn't feel that well made but then again it was only ~£4 delivered.

Didn't see any switched ones in aldi when I went in the blackwater one last week (but then I wasn't really looking for one, that would have been your nearest ALDI.)
