New tv help and wall mounting

Hi Guys Today I recived this tv, http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/stor...rmationSection
Which I have set up with the V+ box Via HDMI widescreen 720.

I have been using the Virgin + Box for about a year on this TV via Scart http://www.dixons.co.uk/product.php?...rmationSection

After setting the Tv up now I can see that the Picture was a lot crisper on the old system than it is with the new one, any one know how I can improve this, I have not adjusted any of the settings.
There is a visable difference in quality the newer hd tv looking fuzzy even through the inbuilt freeview.

Could it be the HDMI cable, I am using the one supplied by Virgin?

And I also ordered a wall bracket for my old tv is there any thing else that I need to stick it on the wall other than the wall bracket and tv
Thanks Guys
Ryan

Re: New tv help and wall mounting

i find people who put tvs over a fireplace (often the best position in the room for it) find that its far to high for them to enjoy watching it....remove the fireplace and put the tv a little lower
