Hi Peeps,
Perhaps this is a silly question but i'm hoping someone can answer this for me.
I have a wireless 108mb super G buffalo router now if i use a different brand of wireless card which is 108mb would it work at 108mb via the buffalo system of Super G or would i need to buy one made by buffalo?
t.i.a
You would need to use one supplied by Buffalo if i recall correctly, different manufacturers had different ways of implementing 108Mbps, which is the reason kits aren't always interchangeable.
Other cards using the same chipset should also be interoperable at Super G speed, not sure if Super G is trademarked so it can only refer to the Atheros chipset speed enhancement
