V+ box - major problems

Hi everyone 1st time poster

I am having some interesting problems with my V+ box and was hoping someone could help. Tried ringing 150 but was told would have to wait 7 days for an answer!?!

All the channels I subscribe to are coming through fine so I can watch tv however I cant access either the EPG or the V+ recordings menu on my remote or by pressing the buttons on the box itself.

I also cant get the box to switch to standby, its staying fully on all the time!

Oh and the red button does not work on any channel. Its really strange, getting all the channels fine but half my remote or box buttons having no effect. If I try to record what I am watching I get error code 2001 on the screen.

Tried re-booting and switching the power off in the mains but no luck so far.

Any help would be appreciated

Re: V+ box - major problems

Red button seems very fussy half the time anyway - reboot fixes it.

Now, have you got the scart in the right connector on the rear? Not looked to check but I think it's the top one. If your TV is plugged into the bottom scart (video out) you'll only get the TV picture and no menus...TV Guide..V+ Recordings etc.
