BT Line Repair/BT Broadband

Mates got a problem...

Hes had some work done on his front door, but the simple people who did it have cut through the Wire going from Outside the House to inside in the Box you plug your phone in...

Now, does this mean a fresh instal or can you/installer replace/repair the wire?

It is for BT Broadband in a NON-Cable area, and has previously been on BT.

Re: BT Line Repair/BT Broadband

It'll be repaired but a chargeable repair as it's a fault due to your mate or the people doing his work damaging the line.

Only thing your mate can do is fork up for the repair then get the 'simple people' to refund him for the damage.

Re: BT Line Repair/BT Broadband

Hmmm. Right.

Its a Council Property and they went around putting new windows and Doors on, but the wire was above the door...

Either Twin Valley Homes (Housing Assoc) or Rock Door (Workmen) will be chargeable for it.

Thing is, the Workmen are saying "We asked if we could cut through it and the tennant said 'yes'" so he might not have a leg to stand on.

Thank god Im on Cable! No wires on show for me! lol
