I'm not Ned i know, but those look perfectly fine to me.
The 6Mb sounds as if she's using an NTL:100 or 120 though, or a generally old modem, which may be limiting her. Or a router by any chance?

As an aside, I have a Netgear Rp614V3 router spare that I am thinking of fitting to the connection, is it rated for 20Mb? Can't find the specs at the moment and it might be quicker to ask here lol

According to the tech docs, it only has a 10Base-T WAN port, so I'd imagine you'd only get about 7-8meg out of it.
Good info here

Yes thank god!
The engineer called his manager while he was in the room to request a repull, which was granted, and it now booked for Saturday afternoon some time, and about time too, really fed up with 4mb speeds!
Oh, and something else very good too, he even provided me with a set of new leads saying that being as the cable is getting re-done, it might be goodfor new wiring all round, top idea that!
Thing Id like to know, being as they are doing a re-pull, would they be able to plug me into a different UBR while they are at it? Thought that if I could be moved to a less-used UBR then I could also rule that out of the troubleshooting senario for future issues...

Re: Modem Levels
No, the UBR your on is the UBR you are on period, its like the water pumping station for your area is the one you get water to your taps from, it dont suddenly change to another towns station unless it was repiped, they can however change the upstream channel you are on if its saturated which it should not be as it auto balance the load (well is meant to) but users have a habit of chaging it at their end and causing issues for others.
