Need an ADSL provider for a 6 month contract..

Hi, my parents are currently renting a property for 6 months, and they need the internet, VM doesn't cover their area so I have been scouting round for about an hour looking for a decent ADSL provider who can provide a 6 month contract.

I am having no luck, and the fact that most require a BT phone line (minimum 12 month contract) is making life extremely difficult, so does anyone have any suggestions?

P.S. Virgin Media > ADSL

No free Wifi, i checked hehe.

Thanks NoKnowledge- Ironic name hehe.

dcclanuk - I was hoping someone would know of an ADSL provider who also provider a phone line, or didn't need one. Looks like I might be out of luck, which brings me onto my next point - BT, monopoly? If you can't get cable, you have to get a bt phone line for 12 months, how is that fair?

Well it turns out you can take the phone line with you wherever you go, as long as it isn't too far, so when my folks move they can just move it over and keep paying. Bad part is that they can only get 2mb grr.
