Phone and TV form Virgin Cancelled without notice due to the number of years I’ve been a customer and to top it off £10 off My BB for 12 months.
I’ve just to chuck my Ntl Box out as it was the original box and disconnect it all myself.

So basically by Tuesday I’ll have my skyone back and still have my Virgin BB for only £25 a month adding both sky and virgin together which works out £7 better off a month.

I felt sorry for the poor guy on the phone, yesterday they had a hell of a day. But at least he sounded like he knew what he was doing.
Shame - you're going to miss all the extras coming to Virgin Media...

Get more back

We're going to give the money saved back to you in the form of even more of your favourite TV shows and films to watch whenever you want. For example, HBO will be joining the our on demand service in April with some great series including The Sopranos, Band of Brothers and Six Feet Under.
Watch the best shows for free

We've launched Virgin Central, our new free service on channel 119, which includes:
  • Nip/Tuck
  • The O.C.
  • Spooks
  • Grey's Anatomy
We're planning to add all 3 series of Lost to our revolutionary on demand service. Series 1 and 2 will be available soon and series 3 is coming your way later this year. What's more, since they're all available on demand, they'll be ready for you to watch anytime you like. Watch one, watch them all, back to back – without the ads.

Not to mention paying more for the package:

Lately Sky offered customers the chance to get 3 services for £26. But hit customers with an extra £11 monthly line rental, making it 3 for £37.
At Virgin Media, there are no nasty surprises and no hidden costs. We believe in being honest and upfront. So the price you see, is the price you pay. When we say you can get 3 services for £30, £30 is all you'll pay.
Fancy adding a V+ set-top box to watch things in HD? Unlike Sky, we won't ask you to fork out up to £300 upfront for the privilege. With Virgin Media, there are no upfront costs for our V+ HD box.

Re: Impossible to get through to retentions!

Yeah, and Battlestar G, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, dresden files etc exactly what i want out my TV, Get it My TV not yours, But i guess I'm wasting my time but it is fun.

Main thing Its my TV Viewing, Skyone was apart of it.

See these guys that have no connection – no worth to a company but takes it that personal its truly sad.

I don’t care who provides my Tv, I’ve got skyone back on Tuesday and saving some money, Happy camper here and for the kids “ I’m loving it”
