Re: strange goings on outside at virgin box
I would guess that all the VM guys have some form of VM ID cards which could be shown if challenged.

Re: strange goings on outside at virgin box
the boxes are like switchboards which combine each house's individual cable into the streets main cable.
they could be doing something with the update of the new look of the home screen etc on the digi boxes.
in the telewest instruction book i got about 3 years ago it said that all their employees and contracters will have a telewest (virgin) ID card that you can see on request and if they dont and say they are from telewest (virgin) then you should phone them and report.

I would take a guess at them being network Tech's doing maintenance on the cab. We don't have logo'd vans yet and haven't for a while. They'll soon be logo'd in the next couple of months.

Wow, do we have an interpreter in the house!
Please don't use it, apart from looking rubbish it isn't the correct way to speak or write English.

Re: strange goings on outside at virgin box
I was going to say...if you have a subcontractor send him my way....my cable cabinet has been damaged for the past six weeks, but seeing that guy's spelling somehow I don't think I want him fiddling with my cables....
