hmm why my kids go swimming twice a week to the park ( weather permitting ) at least 4 times out to wacky ( soft play ) at least once every two weeks do all their home work one plays violin the other the recorder ( and practice often ( though i miss that due to the wonders of ear defenders ) ) go out with friends play online game mostly with me love watching discovery ,s4c and many of the other channels as well as creating the most almighty mess in the rest of their spare time ( oh and are both bi lingual as they go to a welsh medium school )

if they like the simpsons / futurama etc why should they not see it

or are you saying if they like sky 1 the are over weight and stupid

Perfect Reply. I wonder what people would do if Sky Sports Xtra was taken off since it is not broadcast 24 hrs, and was considered not a PREMIUM CHANNEL....

Surely, its only a channel.....

Yes, they are supplying Cable TV, but its like selling a water bottle with only half full.... so according to u that is allowed since u still get SOME water

Or even better, actually converse with their children and have some quality family life.

Nope just pointing out Sky one isn't the only channel out there but if they really must have The Simpsons repeated regularly then fair enough. Personally I like The Simpsons and Futurama but I wouldn't say it scarred me for life when I stopped watching them.
