Re: Virgin Media Win Best Consumer ISP
This is the same VM that came almost bottom in another consumer survey recently. Given by the sharp rise in complains on here about VM's broadband, i'm with chamoan.
As this is a BB-specific thread, i'll move it there

Well, maybe they have just started to turn things around since that last survey, perhaps that was the kick in the pants they needed.

I doubt it, as the survey is updated in real-time.

Re: Virgin Media Win Best Consumer ISP
...The fact that ADSL even got a look in is disturbing...
Granted that the ADSL companies listed offer 'unlimited' yet we all know the dreadful technicalities of ADSL and that a user will most certainly get sick of traffic, grinding halts and the good old fasioned port tightening which is so familiar in the kingdom of ADSL.

Why are we congratulating VM. Even if you're not convinced, it was NTL that won the award. VM have on taken the reins for 5 minutes.

Re: Virgin Media Win Best Consumer ISP
errr guys if you click on the link its the old TW upload speed for Virgin Media.... so its TW that won it...
and okay loads of people are moaning but how many people are here that have a perfectly working connection? look at it that way of how many custs VM have got and how many are moaning here? say less then 0.10% of the whole cust base if that.
