If you go for the V+ with an additional STB upstairs, they will run a cable for the upstairs anyway, so they could add a splitter and put the cable modem there.

to be honest they would have to run it upstairs and through the main bedroom through two rooms to get the cable to where my pc is... so I will stick with the router downsairs by the sTB

Re: PVR release dates
as the word spreads, the demand gets higher.
I'm glad I ordered an install at the end of january.
you need to get it done asap for a quicker installation time.

I've been trying to order since 23rd January, but keep getting told it's deferred, and can't order for another week.

Re: PVR release dates
I love mine, one thing to bear in mind, if like me the installation engineer tells you that the volume controls no longer work then ignore him. All the codes to programme the remote to control the TV volume/mute are in the, Home/Guide > Help and Info > Help with your remote control menu.
Had a couple of problems with the recorded video playback but these are known faults 'apparently'
Jim.

Oh ps the install is free and the service is free as long as you have the full package as I have.

You've booked an installation on 08th Feb already, or you can book on 08th Feb for an installation on unspecified date?

Do you have an extra STB already or are you having your old one moved to another room?
