I've got a bit of software at work and for it to work Domain Users has to be added into the local Administrators group. Is there a way we change this as we dont want users to have local admin privilages?
The program is all in one folder on the C drive and the program write stuff into this folder.
It probably doesn't need full local admin rights, but does need the ability to make full changes in it's working folders on the local PC. I'm assuming you have an active domain. If so try right clicking the program's folder, and the security tab. Now add the domain user with full rights. See what that achieves.
