Took my son out in the snow for the first time today - he's been watching too much Pingu and snowballed an old woman cleaning her car before I could stop him. Short lecture on snow etiquette followed, followed by the old lady being allowed a free hit at him. That'll teach him some manners.

I remember (years ago) when I worked near London Bridge. There had been reall bad weather, and all the trains in my area were cancelled as a result. There was no way on earth I could have got in, so I phoned in and said I couldn't make it to work.

I got told that I should have walked. When I complained that I lived 15 miles (at least) away from work, I was told that was irrelevant.

Anyway, when I put my dogs out this morning, the Yorkie (almost nothing fazes him) just ran around a bit and went about his business). The Westie, who has never seen snow before, but who I expected to like snow (she likes extreme temperatures, and loves to play) took one look, darted out onto the grass, did her business and darted back indoors, looking like something was chasing her.

So it finally got to snowing here last night.....

I went out this morning, couldn't use my stick properly (no snow training I guess

).... So I'm back home now.

Lovely and snowy here in the East midlands. Woke up to a cold winter morning.
I hope it snows again as the sun is out now.

Would have loved to take a few photos but I need a new camera.

Woke up to snow in Bexleyheath today. Kept the kids off school (6 and 7 yo) and went out and made a snowman and threw snowballs at each other.

Aww bless how old is he? Glad to see you are not one of these parents that turn a blind eye or say he is too young to know any better

Here in Leicester it just started snowing again!
