New pc - Vista upgrade?

HI Guys

I bought a new pc around two weeks ago here - http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/stor...uct&sku=274718

I got a 17" monitor with that.

Anyway it says: Vista Premium Upgrade Included

What does this mean exactly please if anybody can tell me? I'm not sure that when Vista gets released, do I get Vista automatically, do I have to buy Vista or will I stay with Windows XP Media Center?

Sorry for the questions.

I've just bought a new HP Laptop and have registered through this link http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windowsv...ssupgrade.mspx it will send you off to the appropriate site for your manufacturer, with HP it was around a tenner for handling and P&P.

Thank you. But for some reason my Ei System manufacturer wasn't on the list. I was told that HP made these but am not sure for certain, does anybody know?

Re: New pc - Vista upgrade?

You should have a voucher for it somewhere from when you brought the machine which you will claim from m$ as others have said you will at least have to pay postage at least

It's a DSG own brand thingy, not sure who actually makes them, suspect ECS.
