Nice to see realistic posts instead of Out and out bull****.
So not 30 Min's then like some say
|
mine has taken upto 6 secs at times.
Its like the box freezes, and then does all ur commands at once, and becoz u pressed the "channel up" button more times than u should have, u end up on the wrong channel, [which could end up being embarrasing ]

The crux of the matter is that you have been on this forum before. You came out with crap like that before as well. Because your area has been re segmented it has made it possible to sign up here again as your ubr address will have changed, this has allowed you to login as another user GARY. Sorry but your posting style just gives you away, I have never seen anyone else post the way you do since a certain GARYPARSONS was banned.
Now if i get shouted at for this post fine. But someone has to let others know that you have been here before as another user i am fairly certain of that.

Actually it's not bull****, I've had my lovely Samsung box freeze while changing channels for up to 10 mins a couple of times in the last few months, I'm not sure how long it would have stayed like that because after 10 mins I rebooted the thing to get control back. Am I a liar as well then?

The difference between the 2 is that the pace slowness is down to the STB not having enough raw power to handle the software.
The Samsung freezes are due to a software glitch. Usually pressing the remote standby button and pressing the channel up/down buttons kicks it back into life.

Re: EX C&W have virgin firmware on there STB
i said that it takes 30 mins to change the channels. subsequent posts have proved me correct. my channels constantly freeze when changing. if you have a problem with me being right then that's tough. don't try and deflect ntl's shoddy programming with your petty insults.

Re: EX C&W have virgin firmware on there STB
my box worked ok, tv wise, til the last (see if we can make them pay THREE times for a terrestrial program) Vod update. So i'm guessing it's the shoddy software as many others have the same problem and many more. Thank god I don't use the interactive as that's horrific.
10 PRINT "This is a better program than the NTL software"
20 GOTO 10
