The only manager that gets shown any sort of loyalty is at the bank! It just shows how big their ego's have got when on the day of relegation they storm into the manager's office demanding transfers, if football had any sense of reality no club would want players that weren't good enough to keep one of their rivals up

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Its been said before, but Stuart Pearce... Top bloke...
Quote:
"I have no complaints about the sending-off.
"Bernardo went down a little bit too easily and I am not like the other 19 managers, who would sit here and give you a load of cock and bull about it.
"I would prefer him to stay on his feet and I intend to speak to him about it this week. Hopefully then, he will stay on his feet."

Psycho is a legend, especially in this part of the country. A lot of forest fans keep tabs on Man City (and Aston Villa) for that reason.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
as i said early that will make no difference.. sure it's a sound bite for the press and makes him look good but if he had dived and got a pen that kept City from being relagated would the comment be the same then ?

Often teams look to be putting in a lot of effort when they are chasing the ball all over the pitch, trying to get it off superior opponents, Worth remembering that United had played a hard Champions League Cup match less than 3 days earlier, City had 7 days to prepare.

Don't believe the hype...it doesn't always rain here...it just gives the commentators something to prattle on about

Sorry, but Richardson is a useless bag of...
West Ham are laughing over selling him. He has had chances in the first team and didn't take them.
Though with Rossi, he does look like he has potential. I just think that he needs to given more of a chance at OT.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Curbishley to be announced as the new West Ham United boss.......
I expect DAD will be pleased
No link yet as nobody dare publish it, but, when Sven was asked what he thought about the probable Curbishley announcement , he commented, " I couldn't care less, the FA are still paying me £30,000 a week

and yes I am pleased, here's why
"West Ham are my club. I come from Canning Town, grew up as a trainee, became a first-team regular and sat at the feet of the incomparable Bobby Moore.

Time for lifelong Rangers fan. Sean Patrick John Paul O'Neill Connelly to invade the pitch in protest and Rangers to be slapped with another fine.

Feyenoord... Could be worse... But still at least as Jol is Dutch, that should help...
