Bt broadband

just orderd BT broadband (opt3)

anyway i expressed concern about the 40gb limit and asked what would happen if i went over and i was told as of yesterday that the cap on opt3 has been dropped as of yesterday.

Subject to fair use apprently, but hopefully that wont effect me.

Question Re: Bt broadband

Thinking of getting rid of NTL and getting BT Broadband. The phones are with NTL at the moment so I would need to get a BT line, which we used to have a few years back. Any helpful advice on switching would be appreciated. And any bad/good comments for BT Broadband and phone service please, anyone?

Re: Bt broadband

12 month contract...............Ouch !

Plenty of others that offer 1 month contracts, try a search here, and try and find ISP's that don't have shifty 12 month contracts.

Re: Bt broadband

Oh and my homehub was D.O.A... using a d-link adsl router instead, never liked the homehubs that much so can't be bothered to get it sorted.

Gotta say since i binned Ntl (to many wrong bills, poor customer service and £4
non direct debit charge,i think not)
i`ve been with Bt ,Bills are right,FIRST TIME,broadband is constant and customer service do what they say they will, unlike NTL.
I`m so glad i got out of the mess that is NTL
