pick of the week, should i get channel 4 or not for free?

hey all,
Well on my pick of the week (free) i got the 4od thing a few weeks back. If i click under any of the alphabetical sections it always says no titles available.

I have channel 4 stuff on the pay section.

a call to NTL (in india) said that i shouldnt be getting any thing for 4od under pick of the week, is this true?

could you kind folk either confirm or deny that i shouldnt be getting any titles for 4od pick of the week free

thanks, dont want to call back if thats the case

I am currently watching the Secret Policeman's Ball for free on it. There were others available, like Countdown and Deal or no Deal.

Maybe this needs a new thread but has anyone noticed that some BBC POTW programmes cannot be recorded? Examples: Robin Hood 04/11/06 and Spooks 16/10/06. Others are OK. Any reason or is it a test?

At a guess, the BBC need to pay royalties (to the actors / production company?) for each viewing.

Re: pick of the week, should i get channel 4 or not for free?

Im in Hemel Hempstead (only down the road from Luton) and have only had VOD a week, but theres lots of stuff on Pick of the week (4oD).

For instance.
A-C = Countdown
D-F = Deal or No Deal & The Death Squads
G-K = Hollyoaks & Goldplated
L-O = Make Me a Grown Up
P-S = Place In The Sun & Starkey's Last Word
T-Z = Tax The Fat & Too Big To Walk

All work fine, hope that helps.

Re: pick of the week, should i get channel 4 or not for free?

If the 4oD stuff is not showing up under pick of the week, try looking in the 4oD section in TV Hits. Anything that is free should still be listed in that section, alongside the pay for titles.
