Re: Outlook express gone

Right click your start menu button and choose properties, then select the start menu tab on the screen comes up, click the customise button and see what it has set as default for email. Outlook Express is software installed on your PC, NTL webmail is a website that you log in to to send and receive NTL mail. Are you sure you are being sent to NTL?

Re: Outlook express gone

If you are running IE7 then click on "Tools" at the left end of the bar with the tabs on, select toolbars, customise, click read mail icon and then "add" button. You may now have a little double arrow button at the end of the toolbar which will show the read mail button when you click on them. If you then right click the tab bar/ toolbar and unlock it you can drag it so you can see the icons. (should be a dotted vertical line that you can click on and drag).
If read mail is already in list of buttons to show then all you have to do is resize the toolbar, you may not even have to unlock it if you can already see a vertical dotted line on the toolbar area to the right of your page tabs.
If tools is not at the end of the toolbar then right click an empty section of the toolbar to the right of your page tabs and select "customize command bar", "add remove commands", this will get you to the screen where you add the button again.

Re: Outlook express gone

You drag the dotted line that will be visible when you select "lock the toolbars" to unlock it (there will be a tick against the option if the toolbar is locked), you don't drag the icon itself, just drag the dotted vertical line across to the left so that there is enough room on the toolbar for the icon to show. How many icons have you got showing by the way? If there are too many the read mail one may not have enough space.

Re: Outlook express gone

Go to control panel/add-remove programs/program access-defaults and set outlook express as default.
You can then use the normal button to open your mail.
