Additional STB ?
We have the top NTL t.v package on the downstairs tele. Is it possible to have a 2nd set top box from NTL and have it in another room so that the other room can watch a different show?
How much does it cost etc?
Thank you

Re: Additional STB ?
yes it is.
you will have to pay for the additional box- it is £15 per month. This will receive the same channel package as the main box although obviously you don't have to watch the same channels on each box.

Am I right in thinking that if he had a TVDrive for an extra £10 rental per month he could have his first STB as a spare at £5 per month, thereby paying the same but having a better service?

Yes, apart form the fact that the TVDrive has not been launched yet!
If BIGZIPZ wants to wait a couple of months then he could get the TVDrive installed for free (instead of £75), paying £10 per month for the HD PVR service (as he is on the top TV package) and £5 per month for the second STB (his old one).

Thanks for that, King Of Fools, still got no official response as to what happens if you already have a second STB.

If you mean the TVDrive, it is the same as being offered by Telewest:
http://www.telewest.co.uk/tvdrive
It is being rolled out on NTL over the winter.
