16:9 reset

16:9 reset

About every two days I have to go into the settings and reset the widescreen option.....any cures for this?

Go into the menu, and out again - this seems to cure it.

This happens to me sometimes. I know when it does it because whilst flicking through the channels, the screen flashes green for a split second and after that I've lost widescreen. To get it back I just press the TV Guide button, wait for that to appear and press TV to exit. I assume it's just a bug in the software.

I used to have this problem with my old Pace box, but since we had it swapped for a new Samsung one it hasn't happened.

The only recurring problem we have now is, the TV won't automatically switch to the channel for the cable box when you turn on to a widescreen broadcast. I believe this is a bug in the software that will be fixed in the next update - whenever that is.....
